At Art In The Garden we may love flower photography but we’re not so in love with the new official name for Dicentra – we prefer the much more descriptive popular name ’Bleeding heart’. Michael’s second photograph of the same…  Janet has been out and about with her camera… “When I was invited by good friends to our local Church flower festival I was expecting to see some beautiful flower arrangements. What I wasn’t expecting was to be totally wowed by the fabulous flowers and the inspirational and stunning way they had been put together. …  On this bitterly cold and windy Sunday afternoon it’s definitely been a good idea to stay indoors by the fire and go through some potential new images for our forthcoming Garden Inspired collections. Here’s a tulip study I’ve been working on… I’ve chosen to desaturate and lighten the image slightly so as to emphasise the soft pastel colours… |
