Today at 1.00 pm we’re celebrating that good old British tradition the allotment by joining in the fun at the Barnfield Road Allotments Open Day in Davenport, Stockport. There’ll be plants for sale, gardening advice galore and, of course, tea and cakes - always a good incentive! There’s also a scarecrow competition – here’s a sneak preview of one patriotic entrant….
